In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My dad found a Peavy Raptor in a car he bought and asked me if I wanted it. That was the crossroads in my life that lead me down a path of sleeping until 2pm, living in a van, surviving on only Del Taco, and writing 9000 rock and roll songs everyday. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Fountains of Wayne, Fountains of Wayne
Ramones, Road to Ruin (Deluxe Edition)
The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds
Pet Sounds has the best songs ever written on it. Road to Ruin has the next best songs ever written on it. Fountains of Wayne self titled has the third best songs ever written on it. Plain and simple. Also that song from Kingdom Hearts one. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“2015 Kia Optima”
This is a song I wrote about my friend and drummer of Sweet Gloom's car bursting into flames. He wasn't going to see a girl, but I was. So. It's semi true and semi fictional. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Convincing Mike Park to put out our record. I hope I can convince him to do it again. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Be heard by people. That's all. Please listen to us. God. The pain.
