Sydney James Harcourt is an American actor and singer best known for his work in musical theater. ∙ After originating the roles of James Reynolds, Philip Schuyler, and the Doctor in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Hamilton, he played Aaron Burr in over 700 performances. ∙ He has appeared in such hit Broadway musicals as The Lion King, American Idiot, and The Girl From North Country. ∙ In 2016, he won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album as part of the cast of Hamilton.
