In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Around the age of 3 or 4, I discovered that I have synesthesia. I was able to physically see music as I heard it. The song that sparked it was "Faint" by Linkin Park. The intro violin sample looked like shimmery purple lights.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frou Frou, Details Skrillex, Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites The Postal Service, Give Up (Deluxe 10th Anniversary Edition) Each of these albums were created by artists that were 10-20 years ahead of their time. In writing, in production, in mixing, etc. Each of them had pivotal moments for me that changed how I went about creating music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for San Holo in San Diego. It felt like my whole life had been leading up to that very moment. I've followed San since his first release ever 10 years prior. It was a dream I played on my head in repeat since that day.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Perform at Red Rocks in Denver. This is the biggest goal for me in live performing especially.
