A New Orleans-based hip-hop sensation, performer, dancer, and all-around entertainer who broke out in 2014 -- at the age of 12 -- with the internet hit "Goin DUMB," T-Lyons' clean-cut and inspiring rap style has been described as "Disney meets Nickelodeon from Black suburbia." Lyons arrived with the message of living "positive, non-violent lives through music and good will" after enduring myriad hardships alongside his father Travis Lyons, President of the Central City Youth Against Violence. The aspiring rap star, who has shared the stage with Diggy Simmons and Jacob Latimore, among others, inked a deal with independent II Fire Records/Cool Ruckus/Universal Music Group in 2015. ~ James Christopher Monger
