In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory is when I was around 4. My mother used to clean our home on Saturday's listening to R&B. I fell in love with the sound early on. She actually heard me singing along to many of the songs; which is how she found I could sing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Babyface, Babyface - A Collection of His Greatest Hits Brandy, Full Moon Michael Jackson, Thriller Thriller set the tone for music as a kid, and of course MJ is the greatest entertainer of all time. I cheated with the Babyface collection album. He made me fall in in love with songwriting. The Full Moon album helped foster my vocal BGV creativity.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Silly Love Song (feat. Gotdamn Jack Jones)” This is my first single. I believe it highlights some of my vocal and writing ability as an artist. It's a fun summer type vibe, and being from TX; it's only right to drop something a little country with a lot of soul. I plan to tap into many genres.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I used to sing in a few indie groups back in the gap. Being talent that wasn't signed to majors but still apart of tours back then was big deal. I hope to get to that place again as a solo artist, and add my own vibe.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As a new solo artist I feel like there is so much I'd like to accomplish. It's just beginning for me. One of the things at the top of my list is a world tour though. I'm looking forward to doing some big shows with dope artists.
