â Popeâs second band, the pop-punk Hey Monday, was discovered in 2008 when Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz found their demo at his managerâs office.
â Hey Mondayâs single âCandlesâ was performed by Darren Criss and Chris Colfer on the âOriginal Songâ episode of Glee.
â In 2012, Pope joined Blake Sheltonâs team on The Voice, singing his song âOver Youâ in the live round, and single shot to No. 1 on iTunes, unseating Psyâs monster hit âGangnam Style.â
