Teddy Robin is an actor, director, composer, and singer/songwriter from Hong Kong whose career began in the 1960s and carried on past the turn of the century. Born in Hong Kong on March 2, 1945, he began his career in the 1960s as the frontman of Teddy Robin & the Playboys, an English-language pop group. He began working in the film industry during the 1970s as an actor and composer. In subsequent decades he was nominated for numerous Hong Kong Film Awards, including nods for Best Original Film Song, Best Original Film Score, and Best Director. ~ Jason Birchmeier
