About Terror 2000
Originally founded in 1999 as Killing Machine, Terror 2000 are a Swedish neo-thrash outfit composed of full-time members of death metal bands Soilwork (vocalist/bassist Björn Strid, drummer Henry Ranta) and Darkane (guitarist Klaus Ideberg), plus second guitarist Nick Sword, who regularly convene to record their albums during downtime from their primary musical pursuits. Said albums include 2000's Slaughterhouse Supremacy, 2002's Faster Disaster, and 2005's Terror for Sale (which saw Ranta replaced by Erik Thyselius), and contain relentless, lightning-fast, but generally uninventive modern thrash, often characterized by surprisingly humorous lyrics. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
