Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember writing a song when I was 6 and singing it to my mom while she was cooking dinner. I snapped and sang. It was a love song and she was confused why her 6 year old son was writing a love song.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ben Rector, Brand New Ben Rector, Cody Fry, Sailboat - Single Explosions In the Sky, The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place Ben Rector is a long time favorite artist. He and I are about the same age. He used to swap shows with a friend of mine in Arkansas. I have loved his sound and he writes the songs I feel because we are in the same stages of life. EitS bc I love them.

Tell us why you chose this song. “My Piano on Xanax” I wrote it during a truly difficult time of life when we had just lost a lot in 2020 and were grieving. I could listen listen to it and it soothed me. It still does. It captured where I was. It's not my best song, but it's special.
