Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a 4 year old, I had a LOT of energy. My dad is a musician so he got me drum lessons and I was immediately hooked. I started listening to classic rock and was mesmerized by the guitar riffs of Page, Young and other early pioneers.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II Deluxe Edition Neil Young, Neil Young Archives, Vol. 1 (1963-1972) Pages' complex riffs applied to what is basically the blues transformed my understanding of how the guitar could bend music across genres. Who other than Neil Young can play a lead guitar line using a single note and make it sound like a symphony?
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Leah” I was in a writing slump and then met my future girlfriend. I went home and wrote this song in about 20 minutes. So yeah, I wrote it for her. Oh, and yeah, her name is Stefanie. :-)
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've played some great events and festivals with tons of people, but playing at my friends wedding last year was a major highlight.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have a lot of songs yet to produce, and I think jamming with Dave Grohl we could produce some serious music. Call me. lol
