In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. going to see Stevie Wonder in Hyde Park when I was 8. the sheer excitement and mass of the crowd formed this buzz in my body that this was what I wanted to do. connecting with so many people that’s something I’ve always strived to do with my music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fleetwood Mac, Rumours Super Deluxe Edition Nothing But Thieves, Nothing but Thieves Olivia Dean, Messy Fleetwood Mac was my childhood soundtrack, the raw musical emotion and vocals from Stevie Nicks is an inspiration. She is unapologetically herself and that shines through in her music, which is one of the things I love most.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Last year we got booked for The Great Estate and were on a lineup that included Primal Scream and The Selecter. It was our first big festival and was a real moment for us, playing our songs to a new audience as the sun went down. Onto the next!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely, we feel as though we’re just getting started and hopefully our new music will propel us forward. A massive goal for us would be to play Glastonbury, always been a dream to keep manifesting.
