In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember taking local transit to another city to watch a punk band perform on a makeshift stage in a hockey arena parking lot. I must have been 14 or 15 at the time and it was the first solo expedition I had to see a band I really enjoyed. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Every Time I Die, New Junk Aesthetic
Minus the Bear, Highly Refined Pirates
Title Fight, Floral Green
These albums bring me back to specific memories that had really special times in my life. Floral Green is an all around amazing album. I discovered Minus the Bear when I was young, and it helped craft my musical journey, I can say the same for ETID. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Death Is the Only Truth”
This song really helped get our name out there. It was our first single that we released off our debut full length "No Funeral". The recording process was a lesson, and I'm glad to look back and take the what we've learned and apply it to new music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
We have played with some big bands we grew up idolizing, and I think that is a nice goal checked off. We've travelled Canada together, recorded numerous songs and experimented with our sound, and I can't ask for more. Lets make more memories. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I think the next thing we're on track to do is to travel to the US and Europe. I'd also love to share the stage with bands that we all love, and take in some knowledge from them.
