About The Juans
Artist Biography
Initially formed as a boyband, The Juans got their name from the Filipino everyman ‘Juan dela Cruz’. The pop and R&B quintet certainly have the chops for smooth and soothing vocals that don’t shy away from high-note runs, but they’re not garden variety as far as their instrumentation skills. Of particular note is Carl Guevarra’s work on the keyboards providing the heft of the atmosphere and grace that elevates their forays into soul, shades of gospel and ’80s pop territory to another level. Their singles have become bona fide hits and often appear on movie soundtracks, such as “Hindi Tayo Pwede”.
