Combining wry, frenetically delivered, Alex Turner-style social commentary and a robust, punk-laced indie rock sound, the K's are a Newton-le-Willows, U.K. quartet inspired by the attitude and energy of bands such as the Libertines, the Jam, and the Clash. Their raucous and melodic 2017 debut single, "Sarajevo," ultimately enjoyed six million streams over the next seven years, mirroring their steady significant ascent. Further singles were issued during that period -- including 2020's somber, piano-fueled "Valley One" and 2023's anthemic "Hoping Maybe" -- before Live at Lafayette appeared in late 2023, a document of a London headline show. Their debut studio album, I Wonder If the World Knows?, was issued early the following year and reached number three on the U.K. chart. Dealing with themes derived from frontman Jamie Boyle's soul searching and self-analysis, 2025's sophomore record, Pretty on the Internet, topped the same U.K. chart.
