Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Joey: As a three-year-old, I sat in my high chair and watched a Beethoven symphony on television. My father came to get me for dinner and saw me in tears. He was excited by my fascination with music and decided to let me stay there.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Foo Fighters, The Colour And The Shape Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blood Sugar Sex Magik The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) Joey: With Abbey Road I began a long-term relationship with music that is characterized by freedom and fun. // The Chili Peppers nailed everything on this record. // Every song was a hit to me when I heard it the first time - Foo Fighters
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Nothing Left For You” Joey: It's the first song I had written for The Lets. The lyrics really flowed through me and the riff glides into the next part which evolves into the prechorus and it just kind of takes off by itself.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Joey: Doing recordings in a club during the pandemic. We lived there for almost two weeks and spent almost every minute with each other while writing songs and recording them as we spent most of the day doing nonsense and being playful children.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Joey: We want our new record to go around the world. It’ll be available on vinyl because we believe that being in contact with the things and people that we deal with is really important.
