In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was probably about 9 years old, it the first time I tried to write a song. I sat at the paper for an hour trying to come up with something catchy and finally gave up after 4 lines. After a year of writing, I wrote the song "Alone."
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eminem, The Marshall Mathers LP Eminem, The Slim Shady LP J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive It's hard not to pick all Eminem albums. That old school Eminem attitude had such an influence on me growing up as a kid. And J. Cole's lyricism is unlike anyone else in the game.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? 2 months back, I performed in Chico, CA for a songwriter competition. I left the show soon after my performance only to find out minutes later that I won the contest. I turn around to go back in the building and the bouncer refused because I was 19.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? It has always been a dream of mine to support my family with my music. To get to the point where my art provides for me and the people around me would be a dream come true.
