In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember the first time my mom brought home my first cornet. I went to blow into it and a big, strong sound came from the instrument. I've been hooked ever since!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, Midnight Marauders D'Angelo, Voodoo Roy Hargrove, Hard Groove These albums each greatly influenced the musician I am today. My top 3 favorite artists are D' Angelo, A Tribe Called Quest and Roy Hargrove.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Days like this” This song is very special to me because it was the first song I wrote by myself and released. I hope you all love it as much as I do.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments of my career so far would have to be playing 15 sold out shows at Madison Square Garden with Harry Styles as his horn arranger and section leader. We broke a record both there and at the KIA Forum in LA!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to get back to some of the amazing venues I've played with other great artists with my solo project/band. MSG, The Forum, Wembley Stadium, Stade De France!
