Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Drifting far away during music lessons... finding a few notes and just escaping in imperfect refrain.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jeff Buckley, Grace Miles Davis, Nefertiti R.E.M., Automatic For The People Spun Nefertiti endlessly as a kid hoping to psychically link. Still as alien & mystical as ever. Grace is perfect, genre-defying, with some of the most staggering performances on record. It broke the sky open. AFTP was my first album. I win. -es

Tell us why you chose this song. “Avalon” Circling themes of desolation, immortality and imitation, "Avalon" creates a slipstream between linear consciousness and abstraction. Both weightless & weighty, it features some of my favorite production of ours to date.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Working with Grammy-Award-winning producer/mixer, David Bottrill (Tool, Mastodon) on our sophomore record. Balanced discourse and the right amount of shepherding created a definitive moment.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? More travel. More experimentation. More collaboration.
