Hailing from Athens, Georgia, the Rishis are a duo whose gentle songs traverse psych-pop, folk-rock, and the '60s-influenced chamber pop style of the Elephant 6 collective with whom they are associated. After working together for nearly a decade, the band made their recorded debut with 2022's August Moon.
