Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Around the age of two I was drawn to a particular album specifically because of its artwork. Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells." The cover art was so intriguing and the album lived up sonically. It blew me away. I have been hooked on music ever since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nirvana, Nevermind Shihad, The General Electric (Remastered) Soundgarden, Superunknown "Nevermind" was the first record I heard front to back where every song blew me away. Cornell combines McCartney and Lennon with the best kind of weird in the best kind of band. "The General Electric" was the soundtrack to my life when it came out.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Invaders” Invaders is a song about inner and/or external turmoil and the inevitable truth that we must deal with what we are served. I don't see the song as an alien invasion, I see it as the human race having these fantastical ideas & fears.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've been very fortunate to have toured with Ozzy Osbourne, my songs have been featured in tv and movies, and I've written songs that have sold millions of copies. Each have been memorable and I'm just so grateful to still be doing this for a living.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I hope that one day we can tour Europe, Australia and the U.S.
