About Throbacc
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Hearing "Nas - If I Ruled the World" for the first time was one of the moments I figured out that I wanted to rap. The deep played beat, vivid imagery, the intellectual storytelling; it was a moment where I just felt I needed in on hip-hop.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Max Minelli, Pain Medicine
Tha Landlord, Permanent Scars
WESTSIDE BOOGIE, Thirst 48, Pt. II
I choose these 3 albums not only because I've done songs with all 3 of these artists, but because when these projects dropped I was going through things and having feelings that helped me directly identify with these albums.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“MENACE in 93 (feat. StLou Shug) (Radio Edit)”
It's always a moment when I'm doing a song with Shug. Menace II Society was always one of my favorite movies growing up. It's a scene where this sample is playing in the background; I used to pause and rewind the scene just to hear the song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Being able to sell physical copies. I created the beats, lyrics, recorded myself, and did all the art design before bringing it to life; so for others to appreciate iit and invest in my vision in the form of supporting my product means a lot to me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Accomplish a profit-welding tour. I want to get out and interact with my fans and be able to sustain a living from my works.
