About Throws
Offering an artful mixture of post-rock and reflective synth pop, Throws is Mike Lindsay and Sam Genders, both of Britain's Tunng. Diverging from the stronger folk complexion of that band, the duo crafted their eponymous debut in Lindsay's studio in Reykjavik. Featuring appearances by experimental string quartet Amiina (collaborators with Sigur Rós) and Sigurlaug Gísladóttir (Múm), Throws arrived via Thrill Jockey and Full Time Hobby in June 2016. ~ Marcy Donelson
