About Tim Wolf
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I was probably 5. For some reason, i was chosen for the special number at a church father/son banquet. I got up and sang a hymn while playing a washtub bass. Never forget the applause & the way my father looked at me w/ approval as i took my seat.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Chicago, Chicago VII (Expanded and Remastered)
Derek & The Dominos, Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs (40th Anniversary Edition) Remastered
The Beatles, The Beatles 1967-1970 (The Blue Album)
These three albums (along with The Beatles The Red Album, which was paired with the Blue album on my cassette) were foundational to my appreciation of music growing up. I still listen to these albums regularly for the musicianship and songwriting
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Stephanie”
I love this song for a couple of reasons: it is a lot different than my most common style and genre, and for that i am very proud. I wrote and recorded this song in an intense 48 hour period (playing all the instruments) True life inspiration.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Charting on the Billboard chart the second time. The first time it was surreal, the second time if was like, maybe i actually can do this and i belong here!!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I have a lot of bucket list items, but one of them is definitely playing The Ryman in Nashville
