Purveyor of sunny, buoyant Latin pop, TIMØ is a band from Bogotá, Colombia, featuring the triumvirate of singers, songwriters, and producers Andrés Vásquez, Alejandro Ochoa, and Felipe Galat. The trio met while studying music at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and began releasing singles in 2019, quickly gaining a considerable online following. In its beginnings more of a Tropipop group (a fusion of Caribbean and Latin genres), by the time TIMØ released its debut album on Universal Music Estemos Donde Estemos (2023), its sound had veered toward the pop/rock of acts such as Maná and Juanes. Encouraged by its growing international popularity, the band spent much of 2024 touring Latin America and Spain, as well as collaborating with an ever-increasing list of like-minded artists.
