Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. May differ from Timmie V, but I think going to see my aunt and uncle in Kansas go to a band practice when we visited them. I must have been 3 or 4. My aunt plays flute, my uncle plays drums, I was distracted by the concept of tornadoes/storm cellars
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Arcade Fire, Funeral Foster the People, Torches (Deluxe Edition) Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly 2/3 of the same artists from the Timmie profile, but different albums that I also like. I absolutely loved Foster the People's album when it came out back when I was in high school, especially their contrasts between actual lyrics and musical "vibe"
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “You Know What You Did” I recorded this and the album it's on during a very difficult period last year; what makes it especially meaningful is when people who've listened to it have been able to relate the song to their own experiences and find their own meaning in it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I went on tour around Colorado with my friend CJ back 2013! We didn't always get tons of people at each show, but had a lot of memorable experiences, including almost getting stranded in Estes Park and playing on the radio in Fort Collins.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My long term goal is to get at least two to three people to play mandola, eventually establishing mandolacore/mandolawave as legitimate genres by 2050.
