Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Every summer when we got to the cottage, my dad would blast Petula Clark’s “Downtown” the moment we arrived. It was like the unofficial start of summer. It’s stuck with me as the first time I connected music to a specific place and feeling.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Andrew Bird, My Finest Work Yet Carly Rae Jepsen, E•MO•TION (Deluxe) Metric, Fantasies Carly wrote the perfect front to back pop album. Emily Haines is one of musics most quietly brilliant architects. Andrew Bird made me love the music as much as I love lyrics.
