Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Born and raised in the Bronx, Tomez’s creative DNA was forged in the birthplace of hip-hop, freestyle, and salsa. This rich cultural upbringing fueled a lifelong sonic curiosity that defines his work today.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? As a true multi-hyphenate producer, songwriter, screenwriter, and entertainer, Tomez refuses to be boxed in. He seamlessly blends influences from R&B and Neo Soul to Reggaeton, Bachata, and Alternative Rock.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Having already collaborated with rising talents like Rey Renzo, Fede Fuego, Tito Palma, and Kevian Dray, Tomez continues to push the boundaries of modern production with a sound that is as diverse as the city that raised him.
