In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Dad's favorites—Yanni, Phil Collins, Kenny G, and Reggae—shaped my taste. Our sound system on weekends, MJ on TV, my brother's 50 Cent and 2Pac craze; these diverse influences crafted my music style's essence.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive M.I Abaga, MI 2: The Movie R. City, What Dreams Are Made Of These albums hold nostalgic ties to pivotal moments in my life. Listening rekindles my journey's essence, serving as a reminder of my progress and providing the strength to keep moving forward.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stressed Out” I penned these lyrics during a tough period when I felt lost. Despite a thriving corporate job, and life changes. The whirlwind of adulthood stole time from my passions, especially music, leaving me grappling with a sense of life slipping away.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2019, performing my music live with a band in front of hundreds marked a remarkable milestone. While I won't claim it as 'the moment,' it's etched as a significant memory in my musical journey.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list overflows a billion streams, a Pulitzer Prize, countless arena shows, a great band, and few meaningful collaborations. Dreams that transcend numbers and accolades.
