Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my first musical memories is holding the metal handles of my parents' dresser-sized record player as I swayed to the music. The joy I felt then has far outlasted those long-forgotten song titles and sparked a lifelong connection to music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Alfred Brendel, Beethoven: The Complete Piano Sonatas
Alfred Cortot, Études and Preludes
Murray Perahia, Chopin: 4 Ballades, Waltzes, etc
It's hard to pin down just 3, but these stand out. Perahia's is beautifully sensitive and brilliant without being flashy. Brendel shows countless levels of color and intrigue. Cortot reminds us that beauty can also be unique & interesting.
