About Trees
A doom metal band hailing from Portland, OR, Trees feature a membership steeped in the history of the style, as well as some members who have been part of the Portland noise-drone outfit Tecumseh. Trees released their first CD, a two-track offering called Lights Bane, on Crucial Blast in 2008. Critically well received, the album drew comparisons to Burning Witch and Bloody Panda. ~ Chris True
