Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was starting a band in 5th grade. Although we never left the garage, we'd spend hours playing songs from Green Day, Bullet For My Valentine, & All American Rejects. I was the lead singer & rhythm guitar.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, Bon Iver, Bon Iver Daniel Caesar, CASE STUDY 01 Frank Ocean, channel ORANGE I could never choose my top 3 all-time albums, but I'd say these are in the top 10. I think these albums embody raw expression in such an intentional way, which is what I strive to do.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Home” I wrote home in a really low place in my life. It's about longing for human connection and a love that is greater than our own survival.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Touring through Europe, Australia, & New Zealand at age 19 was so special. I was able to see how deeply music can connect in person, & I'll never forget that feeling.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I feel I've not even scratched the surface on my mission in music. Ultimately, I hope to heal and connect with as many humans as possible before I go. Red Rocks is definitely a bucket list show for me.
