Coming home from school and going straight into my closest friends dads studio. We listened to Akon, lil Wayne, Fela Kuti and Extra Musica.

The 1975 brings me seasonal joy when I am listening to it. Afro Pop, vol. 1 shows me I can be confident in myself as well as keeping stress away from me. Tha Carter III introduced musical lyrics and how to flow on a track.

This song was the introduction to my Afrobeat Genre. Making afrobeats should be easy for me but because I am from Liberia it was hard to make a song that ties in the Liberian style of music and the rest of Africas rhythm at the same time.
