About Tropical Fuck Storm
Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Tropical F**k Storm channel the broody and menacing sound of Nick Cave as well as leader Gareth Liddiard's previous band the Drones. The group put together their debut album, A Laughing Death in Meatspace, in 2018. With a newfound momentum, they returned to the studio to record their second LP, 2019's Braindrops, which incorporated even weirder instrumentation, including a Soviet space organ. Their third album, Deep States, appeared in 2021. A series of EPs followed, including a collaboration with King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard in 2022 and 2023's covers project Submersive Behavior. The band returned in 2025 with their fourth studio full-length, the trippy and genre-noncompliant Fairyland Codex.
