In the artist’s words:
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Counting Crows, Counting Crows: The Collection Jason Isbell, Southeastern Turnpike Troubadours, The Turnpike Troubadours We have always loved great lyric storytelling paired with beautifully produced music. These influences very much inform how we write and craft our music. From instrumentation to lyrics we often refer to these artists.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “149” This song is about our favorite mountain town, Creede, CO. 149 is the name of the highway that winds through this historic valley. In a time gone by, it was a bustling Silver mining town, and the historical ghosts provide inspiration.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We love playing live, and the last two years have been exciting for new festival and show experiences. The band recently did a "favorite shows" list and playing at Grass on the Gulch, Palisade Wine Festival, and in Creede CO are highlights for sure.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As a Colorado artist, playing at Red Rocks for something meaningful would represent a bucket list item. Beyond that, limited touring to places like Nashville, Jackson WY, Austin, and New Orleans would be pretty special for us.
