In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first contact with music was in 1978 when my older brother had some parties at home. In Brazil known as Bailinhos de Garagem.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Louie Vega, Louie Vega Starring...XXVIII Michael Jackson, Thriller Nuyorican Soul, Nuyorican Soul These albums speak a lot about my sound references which I base my work in the studio on.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Music (feat. Conrad Rochester)” Music has a special meaning for me because it had the incredible participation of Conrad Rochester on vocals, which is a reference in NYC house dancer culture.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It was performing alongside great artists like Afrika Bambaataa, and performing in reference clubs in Brazil like: Laroc and D-Edge.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, I still intend to perform at big festivals, record my album, with the participation of big names in Brazilian black music.
