In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I saw the music video for "Feel Good Inc." by the Gorillaz. I was 8 or 9 years old and it changed everything. It was the coolest thing I'd ever seen and from that moment forward, I knew I wanted to be creative.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Arctic Monkeys, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not Daft Punk, Discovery Kanye West, The Life of Pablo I love all of these albums. They all hold a key moment in my upbringing in music. Indie rock, dance music, and rap music (I miss the old Kanye).
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Freeze Frame” This was our first indie rock/pop song. Everything before that was rap. This was the start of Typhoon Roulette. The beat was made in my college dorm room in 30 minutes. Vocals recorded in the basement of Jack's house in Connecticut.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We got a DM from one of our fans' parents to see if we would send her a cameo of us to congratulate her son (one of our fans) on graduating high school. We felt like we had made it. When a complete stranger is that big of a fan, that's when you know.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Full length LP. Full 60 minute show. Tour. More merch. Interviews. Take over the world.
