Composer, producer, and percussionist Adam Rudolph is known for his adventurous, experimental post-bop jazz and world fusion. Since the 1980s, he has issued dozens of recordings and performed globally. He leads Adam Rudolph's Moving Pictures, Hu: Vibrational percussion group, and Go: Organic Orchestra -- for which he developed a musical notation and conducting system. With kora virtuoso Foday Musa Suso, he co-founded the Mandingo Griot Society in the mid-'80s. Beginning in the '90s, Rudolph collaborated with Yusef Lateef on 15 albums. After founding his Meta label, Rudolph issued Spirits with Pharoah Sanders and Hamid Drake in 2000. Go: Organic's Web of Light appeared in 2002, and they cut Turning Towards the Light in 2015. Rudolph worked with David Liebman and Tatsuya Nakatani in 2018 on The Unknowable, and followed with Chi in 2019 with Liebman and Drake. In 2022, Rudolph and Bennie Maupin released Symphonic Tone Poem for Brother Yusef.
