About UcoN
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
When I was roughly 12 or 13, I remember writing my first song. Granted, it was, let's just say, heavily inspired by Space Bound, by Eminem. The years following would lead me to continue writing music, coming up with my alias "UcoN" in 2015.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Juice WRLD, Goodbye & Good Riddance
Kanye West, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Lil Peep, feelz - Single
These were the albums that broke me out of the Oldhead mentality. This was also around the time my bipolar disorder began to show its head. Around 2020, I began struggling with addiction, primarily alcohol. I suppose these albums made me who i am.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“you ain't writin'”
This was very personal to me. My first major relationship ended in years of me binging and coping, all the while, I had written an album and multiple songs about it. This song really was the final step in me letting go.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
the bucket list is still being written. We will find out as it unfolds I suppose.
