Gen Z rapper Matt Ox was still a preteen when he started going viral with his dark, seemingly age-inappropriate trap songs. • The Philly native bought his first microphone in September 2016, using $120 he’d saved up doing chores. • Ox broke the internet with the 2017 single "Overwhelming.” The music video features Ox flexing on his bike, chilling in a bodega, and showing off his fidget spinners. • In 2018, he released his debut album, OX, on Motown Records. That same year he appeared on controversial rapper XXXTentacion's ? album.
