Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In high school, I had the opportunity to produce and write a record for the senior class to perform. I snuck in a few disses to the Principals and the whole school went crazy.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fousheé, Pointy Heights Frank Ocean, Blonde Van Gammon, Life Got In the Way - EP I chose these 3 albums because they helped inform how I approach my storytelling and world building for a project. Honesty, Vivid Imagery, Simplistic yet thoughtful lyricism, Production that carries a theme, and making each song feel personal.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Keep Going” “Keep Going” is basically the mantra that literally keeps me going. Maybe things didn’t go as planned but it’s no excuse to stop moving in the direction you want to go. It is motivation for artists, athletes, performers across the board to keep going
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being able to perform at shows where my family can come through and sing along to the songs they heard me rehearsing 100x is always something that sticks with me. It’s a blessing.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Definitely want to perform overseas and meet different listeners from other cultures.
