Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my first solo performance was in youth choir at church, probably around 12- 13 years old. As soon as I sang my little heart out, it felt like an arrival to a critical part of myself and I have never looked back since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Carole King, Tapestry Msaki, Zaneliza: How the Water Moves One of my all-time favourite albums is "Tapestry" by Carole King. From the intimate, timeless lyrics to the classic arrangements, this album and its iconic songs have made an incredible impact in my life as a songwriter and as a woman.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Shisa” "Shisa" is a Southern African classic that speaks to a timeless and reverberating love. The soulful song is arranged to echo like the mountains of my homeland, Eswatini, whilst rhythmically inspired by Swazi traditional dance "Sibaca".
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at the Standard Bank Joy of jazz festival has to be one of the most special moments of my career. We wanted to showcase a fresh and authentic approach to modern African Soul music with a band arrangement of guitars and percussion.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is plenty on my bucket list as an artist. So much music to be made, international tours and collaborations to achieve. I am excited for the future and there is certainly much more to come.
