About Vernam Cipher
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
In the cradle, I'd hear mama singing "When the Red, Red Robin (Comes Bob, Bob, Bobbing Along)." That tune — or a yolky poached egg with toast points — takes me right back to those innocent days.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Bob Dylan, Tell Tale Signs: The Bootleg Series Vol. 8 (Deluxe Edition)
Bobby "Blue" Bland, Two Steps from the Blues
Pretenders, The Isle of View Live
Bobby Bland's singing is so acrobatic yet gritty. Chrissie Hynde had a viola play James Honeyman-Scott's timeless, immaculate guitar solo note-for-note on her unplugged "Kid." Only Dylan could tuck the mighty "Tell Ol' Bill" on a rarities collection.
