In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory musically was when as a young child I couldn't sing a Chris brown song. That really got to me and made me disappointed. For a while I didn't even sing but when I finally did, it was marvelous to see.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Sauti Sol, Midnight Train Savara, Savage Level YoZoWo, 4am In Nairobi I think the artistry in these three albums resonates beautifully with me. From the songwriting down to the soul and groove. These artists gave a piece of themselves musically and I'm glad to be on the receiving end of such art.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Kritikal (feat. Odidi)” Being in musical groups all my life, I find this song special to me as it marked a milestone in my musical career as being my first solo single. It shows my growth as an artist and it put me out of my comfort zone and into new horizons.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Faces of my fans every time we meet at concerts or events or even just outside. It's beautiful to see how my art impacts many in different ways
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Definitely!! A grammy is the final stage. For now we keep going
