Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I came from a musically talented religious family, where everyone played an instrument or sang in the choir. After receiving my first drum set at the age of 8, I began recording and creating my own songs with with a tape recorder.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Curtis Mayfield, Curtis (Expanded Edition) Kanye West, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Wu-Tang Clan, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) [Expanded Edition] MBDTF was the album that helped form by understanding of how to structure an album. Curtis helped me learn the importance of giving each song a timeless feel through the writing. Wu-Tang Clan helped expand my versatility in writing techniques.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Buena Vista” This song was one created out of passion, and is my proudest work to date (focusing on the theme of appreciating what one has and not comparing yourself yo others).
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My career is very much only beginning, despite the years of experiences performing and creating. Crafting the music video for Buena Vista however shines as the most memorable. A moment created out of collaboration, that could never be replicated.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As an artist I wish to create more moments crafted out of my deepest experiences. Traveling the world and spreading my music is my only true goal.
