Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a child at school there was a piano and we used to fight to play it at every break. We used to invent some kind of improvised ballet with whatever we could get our hands on, chairs, hoops, imaginary characters...
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jóhann Jóhannsson, Orphée Martha Argerich, Martha Argerich Plays Ravel Massive Attack, Mezzanine To me they are orchestral geniuses and they were able to create a language of their own that continues to influence many artists today.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sirens” SIRENS means a lot to me. It was composed in a context where I wanted things to calm down, to be immersed in a soft and poetic environment and the recording in DolbyAtmos by Alix Ewald allowed me to go in this direction.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording my EP allowed me to bring previously buried musical ideas to life and go beyond them thanks to the people I met on that occasion. The studio recording is an intimate moment of introspection and self-discovery.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Always pursuing ideas, experimenting. DolbyAtmos allows a new way of composing, an immersive experience, and my work is directed towards this exciting playground with the help of the people who accompany me, Alix Ewald (sound) and Doorway Music.
