About Virtual Black Guy
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I grew up in a home where gospel and nightlife lived. My mother was deeply involved in ministry, while my father owned a bar and lounge, so my earliest memories were filled with church, soul, R&B, blues, and everything in between.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Erykah Badu, Mama's Gun
Frank Ocean, channel ORANGE
Janet Jackson, The Velvet Rope
They shaped how I see music: as confession, healing, freedom, and truth. Each taught me that vulnerability can become powerful art.

“Today I Addressed My Loneliness”
I wrote “Today I Address My Loneliness” from old poem tucked in a notebook and unused files. It gave my silence a voice and helped me face loneliness, love, loss, and the question: is something wrong with me?
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One of my most memorable moments was realizing my words could have a voice. Watching my God-given ability merge with technology freed my mind and showed me creativity has no limits.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
My bucket list includes live shows, meaningful collaborations, and finding new ways to tell powerful stories. I want to keep expanding the world around my music and create experiences people can feel.
