Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first live concert I went to was The Beach Boys in New Haven. I was excited to finally see and hear Brian Wilson. Unfortunately, he was unable to do the tour. Glenn Campbell substituted for Brian.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brian Auger's Oblivion Express, Oblivion Express King Crimson, In the Court of the Crimson King (Expanded Edition) Michael Franks, The Art of Tea Michael Franks/The Art of Tea influenced me to try smooth jazz. Brian Auger/Oblivion Express inspired me to play keyboards. In The Court Of The Crimson King expanded my imagination.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “No Other Soul in Sight” I definitely like the way the recording of the song and video turned out. (2 million views on Facebook). I was isolated in a remote location, looking for inspiration. and became truly inspired by the artistic self exile.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I got to perform as opening act for Brian Auger whose phenomenal playing actually inspired me to play keyboards.
