In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I first started performing my music, we had a Battle of the Bands event. Everyone warned me beforehand: "use your own equipment". Sadly I didn't listen and had the worst performance of my life. Nothing worked properly, ugh it was a disaster! XD
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bastille, Bad Blood Fleetwood Mac, Rumours Super Deluxe Edition The Postal Service, Give Up (Deluxe 10th Anniversary Edition) These are major albums that got me interested in certain musical flavors. They also mark huge life events: going to my first concert in high school, when I started collecting vinyl, and the first songs that I used as inspiration for my own music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Amanda (feat. Death by Fireworks)” "Amanda" really feels like the first cohesive song I put together, and the first song that had a proper verses/chorus/bridge structure. I feel like it marked the transition into making songs that were entirely my own and could be played on the radio!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I worked as a camp counselor at a summer camp in 2019, and during one of our talent shows, I went the whole nine yards and performed one of my songs with a DJ setup. It was a huge hit, I had no idea if it would be successful. But it did!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Ya know, one day I'd love to perform at Red Rocks. One can dream!
