About Wayne Byrum
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I started playing the guitar because of the "What We're All About" music video by Sum 41 in the first Spiderman movie with the OG, Tobey Maguire.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Drake, Nothing Was the Same (Deluxe) Deluxe
Joyner Lucas, ADHD
The Story So Far, What You Don't See
Because I currently love these albums in general, even if the public won't agree with me, I am who I am. Nothing Was the Same was peak Drake, What You Don't See is peak TSSF, and ADHD is peak Joyner in my personal opinion. Love all of them!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Breaking Free”
My first guitar solo I ever wrote! What a monumental moment to have in your musical career! Aw!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Being on the Radio for my first album ever released because of Reddit, or racking up over 200k views on Instagram Reels over the past year of 2021-2022. Woo!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Actually get a band together and tour or even just play a show. So much work for almost nothing in the physical world. Sheesh!
