Artist Biography
A dynamic Los Angeles, California-based heavy metal unit, Westfield Massacre employ a hard-hitting blend of European-style shredding, dirty/clean vocals, and explosive melodies. Citing a wide array of influences that include Metallica, Dream Theater, and Killswitch Engage, as well as classical composers like Richard Wagner, W.A. Mozart, and J.S Bach, the band formed in 2015 around ex-Divine Heresy vocalist Tommy Vext (Snot, Bad Wolves), Stephen Brewer (guitar), Erik Tisinger (bass), and Dio Britto (drums). They recorded their eponymous debut album at Echelon Studios with producer Joseph McQueen, and released it in 2016 via Urban Yeti Records. Vext left the fold the following year and was replaced by Seann Nicols (Adler’s Appetite), who made his studio debut on 2018's Salvation. ~ James Christopher Monger
